Tre! brings Green Day back up to date. It is the most adventurous of the trilogy and is a satisfying climax. It feels like the most natural progression of Green Day coming from 21st Century Breakdown but without most of the politics. I think if Green Day made only one CD instead of 3 they most likely would have chosen the songs and direction on Tre!
